Terms of service
By placing an order with Code My Euro (“Code My Euro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all products and services purchased through our website, including vehicle coding, programming, diagnostics, tuning, software, electronic products, and performance products.
1. Orders & Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance by Code My Euro. Prices, product availability, specifications, compatibility, and product descriptions are subject to change without notice.
Payment must be received in full before products or services are provided. Code My Euro reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order where necessary, including orders involving unsupported or incompatible vehicles or products.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle, contact, billing, and shipping information.
2. Vehicle Coding & Programming
Vehicle coding and programming generally involve configuring or modifying software functions already supported by the vehicle.
Code My Euro does not guarantee that coding or programming will have no effect on a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty decisions are made by the vehicle manufacturer, dealership, or warranty provider.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is in suitable mechanical and electrical condition before coding or programming.
Coding and programming may involve electronic control modules and require stable battery voltage, compatible hardware, and an appropriate computer or diagnostic interface.
Code My Euro is not responsible for failures caused by low battery voltage, power interruption, incompatible hardware/software, pre-existing vehicle or module problems, unsupported modifications, loss of internet connection, customer interference, or failure to follow instructions.
3. Remote Coding
Remote services require a Windows PC, internet connection, appropriate diagnostic cable/interface, and third-party remote-access software such as TeamViewer.
The customer is responsible for providing compatible equipment and following all instructions provided by Code My Euro.
Third-party software and services are subject to their respective terms and availability.
4. Tuning & Performance Modifications
ECU/DME tuning, software calibration, performance programming, and other performance modifications can increase stress on vehicle components and may increase the risk of mechanical or electronic failure.
All tuning and performance modifications are performed at the customer's request and risk.
Code My Euro does not guarantee that a tuned or modified vehicle will remain free from mechanical, electrical, or electronic problems.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is mechanically suitable for the requested modification.
5. Emissions & Legal Use
Certain performance products, software modifications, and tuning services may not be legal for use on public roads or highways depending on the vehicle and jurisdiction.
Federal, state, and local laws may prohibit modifying, disabling, removing, or circumventing emissions-control or safety systems.
Customers are solely responsible for determining whether a product or service is legal for their intended use and location.
Code My Euro does not represent that every product or service is legal for use on public roads in every jurisdiction.
6. Software & Digital Products
Software, digital files, licenses, activations, coding files, tuning files, and vehicle-specific products may be tied to a particular vehicle, VIN, ECU/DME, account, or device.
Digital, programmed, customized, or vehicle-specific products are generally non-refundable once delivered, activated, licensed, or installed.
Tuning services are non-refundable once the vehicle has been tuned or the applicable license/software has been issued or activated, except where Code My Euro determines otherwise or applicable law requires a refund.
7. Returns & Exchanges
Eligible physical merchandise may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery, unless otherwise stated.
Returns require prior authorization from Code My Euro and must generally be unused, undamaged, and in original resalable packaging with all included hardware and accessories.
Products that have been installed, modified, damaged, scratched, or otherwise used may not be eligible for return.
A 20% restocking fee may apply to authorized returns where permitted by law. Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed.
Custom, special-order, personalized, programmed, or vehicle-specific products are generally non-refundable and non-cancellable once processing has begun.
8. Shipping & Damaged Orders
Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery.
Shortages, incorrect items, or shipping damage should be reported to Code My Euro as soon as reasonably possible. Customers should retain the original packaging and provide photographs or other documentation when requested.
Code My Euro is not responsible for carrier delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Refused or undeliverable shipments may be subject to return shipping charges, carrier fees, and applicable restocking fees.
9. Warranty
Products are covered only by a manufacturer's warranty when one is provided by the manufacturer, unless Code My Euro expressly provides a separate warranty in writing.
Warranty coverage may be denied for abuse, neglect, misuse, improper installation, modification, racing/competition use, improper maintenance, electrical damage, water damage, or other conditions excluded by the applicable warranty.
No warranty is provided for damage caused by circumstances outside Code My Euro's reasonable control.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Code My Euro and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products or services.
This includes, but is not limited to, engine or transmission damage, ECU/DME or module failure, electrical damage, vehicle downtime, towing expenses, rental expenses, labor costs, loss of use, loss of income, or loss of warranty coverage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Code My Euro's liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid to Code My Euro for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Manufacturer Affiliation
Code My Euro is an independent business and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or authorized by BMW AG, BMW of North America, MINI, Rolls-Royce, Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, or any other vehicle manufacturer referenced on this website unless expressly stated otherwise.
All manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification and compatibility purposes.
12. Intellectual Property
Software, coding files, calibration files, tuning files, documentation, procedures, and other proprietary materials supplied by Code My Euro remain the property of Code My Euro or the applicable rights holder unless expressly stated otherwise.
Purchasing a product or service does not transfer ownership of proprietary software, files, or intellectual property.
13. Service Availability
Code My Euro does not guarantee support for every vehicle, model year, ECU/DME, software version, market configuration, or modified vehicle.
Vehicle manufacturers may change software, security systems, and electronic systems without notice. Code My Euro may decline or discontinue a service when a vehicle or procedure is unsupported or cannot reasonably be performed.
14. Customer Acknowledgment
By placing an order, you acknowledge that:
- You have provided accurate vehicle and order information.
- You understand the risks associated with vehicle coding, programming, tuning, and modifications.
- You understand that warranty coverage is determined by the manufacturer or warranty provider.
- You are responsible for determining whether modifications are legal for your intended use.
- You understand that certain digital, tuned, customized, and programmed products are non-refundable.
- You agree to follow all installation and operating instructions.
- You accept these Terms & Conditions.
15. Changes to These Terms
Code My Euro may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to an order will generally be those in effect when the order is placed, subject to applicable law.

CUSTOMER AGREEMENT
BY PLACING AN ORDER WITH CODE MY EURO, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS. YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT VEHICLE CODING, PROGRAMMING, TUNING, SOFTWARE MODIFICATIONS, AND PERFORMANCE ALTERATIONS INVOLVE RISKS AND THAT YOU ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR PURCHASE AND INTENDED USE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
